My daughter Bethany . . . .

Well where do I start ....

Not sure if any of you know but she was VERY badly bullied in her last middle school . . . we eventually took her out (well drove out) it was mostly cyber bullying msn/facebook . . . . one particular girl . . . . Bethany had only been at the school two months (we moved) when the girl joined and came between Bethany and her newly found friend . . . . police were involved but the school was DISGUSTING . . . . attitude towards it stank . . . . it went on for about 9 months . . . . it messed up most of her education for Year 6 . . . .

ANYWAY . . . . we put her in the other middle school and all is well . . . . going back to primary school days Bethany has always not like school very much and would rather just go and socialise and look pretty . . . . this has caused her to basically have a tummy ache and feel sick everyday of her life since the age of 5 NOT cos it drives me insane . . . .

Well she was off last week because of sickness and flu which admittedly she had . . . . towards the end of the week well she was bouncing around like I dont know what obviously very much alive and kicking!!!

Come Monday just gone . . . . wakes up at 7 mum I dont feel well I feel sick and got a tummy ache WELL I aint happy I end up forcing her to get ready and go to the neighbour for her lift . . . 5 mins later neighbour calls she crying in the car what do I do . . . . in she comes and I am flaming FURIOUS . . . . I make her stay up in her room . . . . then surprise she feels great towards the end of the day . . . .

WE HAVE NOW made a doctors appointment for 4.30 today for once and for all to have a full body MOT cos I am sick and tired of worrying and if she dont go to school I get in trouble . . . . she would love not to go FFS

I hope we get this all sorted .... cos I cant take no more of her saying she feels ill all the time when it comes to bloody school

hi chick yeah i remember poor bethany she must be soo i really hope docs can not fair on u either hunny the worry i had thsi with kirsty in the end i phoned chichester there ones in charge of childrens attentence and they were great babe u prob one near u as much as they want children in schools they dont want them to go so if it comes to it hun phone them just so they know i had no probs with kirsty tho in the end she was off school 6 weeks as refused go back thats when she went to the special needs school keep me posted babe pm me anytime babe here 4 u massive for docs hunny loves ya xxx

im goin thru this at them no with sof she's always been the same still starting at 4 wen she went in2 class 3 it stopped but since her op she's being bullied and once agen we'll bck 2 the tummy ache thing.i did take her 2 the doc's about it wen she was 5 and they told me its nerves and its nothing 2 worry about.easier said than done wen its ur child.we'r goin 2 look at a house tmw so we can move and get her out of this school.

Wow....cant imagine what you must be going through. Maybe l'm barking up the wrong tree here, but have you thought she maybe being bullied again? The reason why l am saying this is its best to explore all avenues and not to rule out anything. I hope she isnt, but best to double check.

I have read, seen on the telly and heard from girls at work what their own kids have gone through due to bullying. Some thing which l hope dos not affect Daniyah however its one of those things.
I think schools have quite laid back attitde on this, and need to be more stern and if needs ben set example to show otherpupils that they will not tolerate it.

I do hope she is ok, and do let us know how it goes at the doctors.

some child can b so mean about all sort of thing and i hope all ok some r goin thru this but im hoping noone else child on here has 2 go thru it not only is it heart vreaking 4 the child but every day after dropping sofie off all i want 2 do is go pick her up and take her away from it all

Thanks ladies for all your lovely replies ... its awful Sara but I feel the same I sometimes dont want her to go in .... We have been to the doctors and he has put it down to nerves .. in the adult world it would be classed as IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) ... he has given her some tablets to take colofac for when she has the stomach pains .... I have also spoken with the school so they are aware ... Russ is coming out of work to take her in tomorrow and I will be worried about her all day

MASSIVE UPDATE!

Took betty to drs ... he said its deffo nerves/stress and diagnosed IBS gave her tablets to take before she eats to settle in the stomach ... AND is sending her for blood test just to be safe nothing major .. doing that tonight after school.

Same pattern this morn of tummy aches sickness crying ... I was strong even though it broke my flaming heart ... gave her a tablet before breaky .. then I took her right in to the school ... receptionish were brill chatting to her while we waited for Year Head ... Year Head was lovely talk to bethany and me etc etc and she managed a smile and I left feeling happier ...

Later on this morning Deputy Head phoned and said she had a great big chat with betty and she opened up to her and basically bethany does not like going to school would rather stay home with me and her one wish would be to never go again ... she is very happy in her friendships and has settled in to the school and is in fact very bright child and the head assured me that bethany is NOT being bullied and I kinda guessed that anyway .. cos Bethany has never liked school hence the fact she would do anything to get out of it since the age of about 5/6/7 ... They would like to bring bethany's happiness up a notch cos they dont like to see her unhappy so we are all gonna work together to make this happen ... of course the transition in june to upper school (yep she is leaving this school) i wish she could just stay there needs to run smooth ..

BASICALLY I am happy that its just that she dont wanna go and not bullying iykwim ... cant wait to pick her up and see how she is now

oh wow u have been through the mill abit hun im sure things will look up soon my next door were being not very ncie so they got there mates kdis to pick on my josh at school ! wasnt happy its all stoped now since i confronted the kdis paretns !
