i myself suffer with serious arthritis but there are many types and syptoms if you are unsure tell me here im happy to explain the different syptoms and arthritis around

I have had clicky knee joints and ankles for years .... just recently my left leg is getting worse ... I am having pains going from my knees to my ankles ... dull aching and to touch in a certain spot it feels bruised ... I went to the Dr's yesterday and she said that I need to have my bloods done and also has referred me for some physio ... My mum has been diagnosed with the oster arthritis one and its in my mums side of the family ... I am worried cos I want to know if this is what I get ... also I suffer more in the winter then I do the summer ... this may sound silly BUT it sort of feels like the 'growing pains' of teenage years??

I have osteoarthritis of my knees and hands

I am going to get my bloods done Wednesday now .... then its a case of for the results ... I have been told to take glucosmine tablets and strangly that as cured my jumpy legs of an evening! x

your mums is the osteo arthritis you may have this as is most common syptoms are aching joins swelling which could be the bruising u feel because is very painful there doing bloods hun see what type it could be as bloods show up quicker the reason u feel it more in winter months is because the sets in babe so its more painful let me know how u go xx

aww thanks Tina for that ... I so wanna get them over and done with but I aint got the car till wednesday so cant get there before then ... I just want to know what I got if you know what I mean cos then me mind starts racing and I think all sorts .... we deffo keep you posted chick xx

not yet - but i fully expect to have osteo at some point, i was a gymnast for 18 years so my joints took a lot of battering!!!!x

yeah babe when i fisrt went they said to me have u had sports injury i hadnt but they have check xx

They bloody came back NORMAL can you believe ... I still have my pains BUT I have to admit been taking glucosmine and it has improved ... I have my first physio appointment in Dec so maybe that will

quite often nothing shows in ur bloods even when u in loads of pain, the may repeat them later if nothing improves.xxx

I hope so ...my mum said that as well ... hers had to be diagnosed in the end by xray!

even that takes a long time with pain b4 any effects show - just keep pestering them they may be able to treat you without any positive test results.xxxx
